Easter is coming soon…

Last year I made about 15 Easter Cards for family and friends. My intention was to make roughly the same amount this year. However, I’ve just realized that Easter is early this year; already in the beginning of April, so I’m not sure I’ll be able to make them until then , especially since I also need to make a couple of birthday cards in March and we might be going away for a weekend…

I’ve seen a couple of Christmas Card Challenge Blogs; it’s such a great idea to start with them early in the year, so that one doesn’t have to stress about them the weeks before Christmas. I will definitely try start early this year, but I haven’t felt like it just yet…maybe when spring has finally arrived? 😉 Anyway; I was just thinking that it wouldn’t be bad with an Easter Card Challenge Blog either!

"Bunny Hug", Motivet

So with Easter just a month away, a whole bunch of cards that need to be made and having just received the adorable “Bunny Hug” stamp from Motivet, it wasn’t that hard after all to choose which of the new stamps I received this week to ink up first. For this card I followed this week’s sketch from the Motivet blog and I will enter this card into my first ever Motivet challenge! I really like their sketches; I used a couple of them before, but as I didn’t have any Motivet stamps back then, I was unable to take part in their challenges. I’ve also found a couple of more challenges this card fits in to:

One Stop – Challenge #69 “Optimistically Pink”
Simon Says – “Vintage with Flowers”
Motivet – Week #8 Sketch

Motivet Challenge Week #8-2010
