Made To Order

This is sooooo not me. I’m way outside my comfort zone with this card. I was asked by my sister to make a card for one of her colleagues and she requested it to be “plain and simple, more of an elegant card, and moreover not to use any stamp, just the no 40 centralized”  …further instructions were “green and white, to incorporate a punched border somewhere on the card and to group the flowers”… Can u tell my sister knows what she wants??? 🙂 I should maybe add here that she’s a florist so she’s been in the creative business for the last 20 years. Anyway, this is what I came up with, I hope it lives up to her expectations.

The circles are cut out with my Nestabilities, and the numbers with my Cuttlebug dies (Hippie Chick).  I airbrushed the punched borders, the inner circle, the scalloped circle, as well as the butterfly with my Copic Airbrush set. Unfortunately I didn’t have any white flowers (whenever I visit the Wild Orchid Craft online store, all white flowers are sold out 😥 ), so these are ivory colored. I added some glitter to them with my Copic atyou spica pen.

Card Recipe
