Sarah Kay Easter Card

Apart from the stamp and the Mulberry flowers, all the material used for this card I bought when we were over in Germany two weeks ago. It’s an Easter card for my parents in law – I thought it’d be fun for them to see what becomes of the stuff I buy once I have put it all together. Isn’t the ribbon with the gold metal thread and the tiny pearls simply gorgeous?! I bought this one from Erren Schreib und Spielwaren in Willich. I also bought the same kind of ribbon in light blue as well as another one in ivory. The latter one is if possible even nicer and I intend to use that one for a wedding card I’ve been asked to make. Speaking of ivory, all the Mulberry flowers were originally ivory, but I colored them with my Copics (YR000 & BG11 + CB).  The oval background I airbrushed with my new set. I’m lovin’ it! 🙂
