Blue Christmas Joy

I’m sooooo proud of myself. This past weekend I made not only one, but actually two Christmas cards! 😀 This is the second one:

By now I have gathered quite a few Whiff of Joy stamps; I really like the Willow stamps, illustrated by Elisabeth Bell, as well as the Henry the Mouse stamps by Alison Acton. This image is however by a rather new WOJ illustrator, Norma Fickel. The first time I saw her adorable gnome images must have been some time before Christmas last year; I instantly fell in love with them and knew I just had to get some! I waited until April, but whilst at the Big Stamp & Scrapbooking Show in London, I bought three Christmas stamps and one Spring stamp. Can’t wait to ink up the other ones! 🙂

With this card, I’ll be entering the Whiff of Joy Challenge for the first time. The current challenge is to follow a sketch (see below). The sponsor of the challenge is Wild Orchid Crafts and the price is some beautiful lace and flowers. As one can tell, I like to use both, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed! 😕
