X-mas in June

Here it is; this year’s first Christmas card! 😀

It’s always a struggle to get all the Christmas cards ready on time, so this year I was determined to start early. My intention was to get going after I had finished my Easter cards back in April, but that didn’t quite work out. Nevertheless; I’m off to a good start; last year I made my first one in September…

Friday Sketchers #106

For this card I used this week’s sketch from Friday Sketchers. The sponsor of this week’s challenge is Motivet, so I decided to use my stamp “Hilda with Santa Hat”. Last weekend I made a summer card with another one of my Hilda stamps; she’s just the cutest hippo ever and much fun to color! Once again I’ve used a beuatiful  sheet of paper from Maja Design (unfortunately the layers are covering most of it). The other papers are from Laura Ashley and Papermania. As usual, I decorated the card with flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. It’s a bit hard to detect on the picture of the card above, but more visible in the close up pics underneath, that I have added Stickles Star Dust to the flowers and also to Hilda’s hat.
