Cupcake Inspirations

Cupcake Inspirations #71

Earlier this week I stumbled upon a new challenge blog; Cupcake Inspirations. Each Sunday they publish a picture of a delicious cupcake, to use as an inspiration for your craft project. This week’s cupcake has a perfect Halloween color scheme, but I thought it’d also work for the male birthday card I needed to make.

The image is from Riley & Co. and is called “Coffee Riley”; suitably Riley also has a Cupcake to enjoy with his coffee. :-o As this week’s challenge over at Allsorts is paper piecing, which I haven’t done in  along time, I decided to use this technique for the chair and the footstool. The sketch is from Friday Sketchers.
