I have a bit of a bad conscience as I have done quite some crafts shopping this month… 😳 The source of all evil is the Twinklet’s Diamond Dust. After having seen Bev’s tutorial on how to coat poinsettias with it, I just had to have it. So, I ordered it from the Hobby House. However, it would be a waste of money to pay postage for just a little jar, so I added some bellies to my order; the angel & apples charms, the fancy pins, the ivory pearl flowers, some buttons, the rhinestones and oops the Sarah Kay stamp “Time for Apple Pie”.
The next wicked thing was the Crackle Paint. Lately I’ve seen loads of people using it on their craft projects, so I wanted to try it as well. The hunt for crackle paint was on; I went to a local crafts store, Hobbycraft and a couple of crafts stores in Maidenhead, but none of them were selling the Ranger’s crackle paint. 😥 In one them, I did however pick up some Christmas paper (one can never have enough paper, can one?! 😉 ) and a few Christmas brads.
Finally, after having run out of nearby crafts stores, I had no other choice but to order the distress paint online. The Glitter Pot had the colors I was after in stock, but once again why pay full postage for only three items?! I thought I’d better add a few more things to my order, and as they happen to sell Magnolia stamps, this did not prove very difficult…
But not all of this month’s new stuff is evil… The lovely laces, pearls and berries seen in this picture were a late birthday gift from my sister. Without any doubts, she knows what a craftaholic needs…ok, well I admit it, wants! 😀
