This is my second “first timer” this week; the last card was the first Halloween card I’ve ever made, and this is my first ever Easel card. 😀 I’ve been wanting to make one for ages, but always found some excuse as I thought they would be difficult to make. However, as I wanted to make a special birthday card for my mum, I decided to give it a go, and to my great surprise it wasn’t hard at all! I will definitely be making more of these; I loved the fact that there’s so much surface to decorate! 😆
The idea to stamp a fairy in the foreground of Motivet’s background stamp I borrowed from Marianne. I can’t remember the brand of the papers, but I’ve had them for years, and I think they’re just perfect for the season.
The sentiment is a digital download from Jenn’s Digital Word Art.
