Well, this is an old stamp I bought four years ago, and last Fall, when I had just received my first Copics markers, this was one of the first images I had a go at. My intention back then was to make a Halloween card, but I remember that I couldn’t find any papers that went well with the image. Yesterday I ended up using some DCWV Vintage Decoupage paper I have owned for at least two years… 🙄 Well, what can I say; sometimes the mojo just isn’t there, sometimes it is! 🙂 Besides, it always helps if you have a good selection of embellishments! 😕 Yesterday I recieved some Halloween papers I had ordered from Craft4Creation, and with my order I got a freebie; a collection of fall ribbons from Papermania. This green ribbon was really what prompted me to pick up the old already colored image and make something out of it, and then with the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pins, it all came together very easily. Love it when that happens!
I’m definitely in a distressing period right no; this is the 3rd card in a row where I have created my own mats with plain white paper and distress ink. For this card I used vintage photo. I added lots of Stickles gold glitter to the flowers and finally I gave the whole card a good spray of the Tattered Angel’s Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist.
Hope you like it- now I’m off to making something cute! 😆 😆 😆
