Finally…

…a baby card again! The last one I made must have been almost two years ago, so this was about time. 🙂 Didn’t intend to make this one until the baby had been born, but as there lately have been so many challenges with the theme “New Beginnings”, and I’ve seen so many cute and inspirational baby cards out there in blogland, I couldn’t wait any longer. Hopefully the color choice will prove accurate… 😉

Challenges
Crafty Creations – #101 New Beginnings
Crafty Calendar – #16 New Beginnings
Cute Card Thursday – #147 Monochrome
Stamptacular – #93  Sketch
Stampin for the weekend – #1 New & Blue
PaperPlay – #11 Cutie Patootie
Paper Cutz – #74 Tag
Totally Gorjuss – #63 Cuddly

As one can see, the sketch is rotated to fit the image. This is the first time I’m using this stamp, “Baby Dexter”, which I was lucky enough to win in Motivet’s blog candy back in August. Also the paper in the middle section is new; it’s from Magnolia and is fittingly called “Something New”. I usually color Dexter and Doraline brown, but this time I decided to go with grey instead as I think it fits better with the papers. The stamp I used around the edges and also on the tag is from Stempelglede’s Grunge Collection.
