Here’s a birthday card my mum asked me to make. It’s for a lady turning 70 and I so wished I’d have had my stash here, so I could have cut out the numbers with my Cuttlebug cutting dies… But not long to go now and then it’ll be like Christmas; our container has made it over the pond and is now on US soil, we’re just waiting for it to clear customs. 😀
For this card I used my favorite stamp from the Fairy Lily Collection, released in February by In2Stamps. I love the cute innocent look on her face; she’s just so adorable! I also used one of my favorite color combos; pink & green, as well as one of my favorite sentiment stamps. The lay out is from a sketch by Sketchy Colors; it’s rather simple, but yet very effective, especially for large images like this one. Once again I’ve added Rock Candy to the fairy’s wings.
