Bending the Rules

Hi & Happy Friday :-) ,

I try hard not to embellish male cards with flowers, but for this male birthday card I made an exception. Since it’s not such a girly girly flower I thought it’d be ok to bend my own rules a little bit. ;-) The flower has been made of regular newspaper, which I distressed, with Whiff of Joy’s Nested Flowers III’ dies according to Katharina Frei’s tutorial.

I followed this week’s sketch from Sketchy Colors and used the color scheme from The Shabby Tea Room (see pics).
