If you know me, you know I’m always struggling with male cards… and this card turned out to be an unprecedented struggle. Motivated by the success I had when I printed off and colored a digi on Sunday (the first time in over a year’s time, and also with a new printer), I was excited to finally be able to use some of my digis. For this 40th male birthday card, I decided to use Zeus Luca which I was lucky enough to win from Tickled Pink Stamps a couple of months ago.
On Sunday when I printed off the image, it worked like a dream; it was if the printer had never done anything but printed digital images on thick paper all its life. I was thrilled and even wrote about it in my last blog post, but boy did I jinx it. Today, when trying to print off Luca I had major printer jams. Not once, not twice, not three times, we are talking 10-15 times… 🙁
Finally, when I was about to give in to the printer, for some weird reason it just worked; the paper went through without getting jammed. I was of course happy about that, but in the process the printer ruined 5 sheets of coloring card stock. 🙁
