Today’s May the 15th, which means it’s time for my premiere at CLP, Crafting Life’s Pieces. Chelsea has created this wonderful sketch to play with:
As always, the CLP sketches are great for splashing out on the bellies. 🙂
The hearts kept on relecting themselves against the light, so here’s a better pic of the card from a bird’s perspective:
I had heaps of fun creating the hearts; first I painted the dies with “Picket Fence” Crackle Paint and used “Faded Jeans” Distress Ink to enhance the cracks. Then, after having attached the tiny letters, I stamped some swirls with a Stempelglede stamp, and lastly I covered them with Glossy Accents (hence, why they are so hard to photograph).
Here’s a close up of the Bridal Couple. Used Rock Candy Distress Stickles for the dress and Stardust Stickles for the rose bouquet. Too bad the sparkle doesn’t show very well!
The people who know me, know I’m usually too lazy to decorate the inside of my cards, but as this is a commissioned wedding card, I thought I’d better make an effort. 🙂
