My gosh I just checked and it’s been almost a month since I last posted a new card! No wonder I had almost forgotten how to make one, when I created my card for Live & Love Crafts’ 1st challenge. 😆 The theme, chosen by myself is “Nautic” and this is what I made:
I love using the “Dangling Sea Edwin” stamp, and this time the sweet Edwin has been accompanied by a just as sweet “Dangling Sea Tilda”. I also used Magnolia’s “Sea Background” and made a window with it.
I had so much fun making this card; kept on adding detail after detail; the Vintage Tag is my all time favorite Magnolia cutting die, which I stamped with the new “Carte Postale stamp” from Inkido. The sea shells I’ve had in a drawer for years; they’re handpicked by myself, but I can’t remember when and where.
…and this is my absolute favourite embellishment from this card. These cute miniature glass bottles from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology range are perfect for nautical projects, and go especially well with the Maja Design Paper I’ve used, “Bottle Message”.
