July just flew by; I can’t believe that we’re already in August, but today it’s the 1st and a new challenge starts over at the Live & Love Crafts’ Inspiration & Challenge Blog. This time we have a great sketch by Elizabeth. The challenge runs for a whole month and one lucky winner will recieve a £25 Voucher for the Live & Love Crafts’ Store. Oh; and we also got a Carrot Cake Challenge with a secret prize going on. 🙂
I love working with layers, so this one was right up my street!…and this is my take on it:
Looook; Sandy is not stamping!!!
Indeed; for the first time I’ve tried a Vintage Card. Encouraged by my sis and inspired by Tina and Elin. 🙂
The pretty image is “Little Sweeties“, From Grandma’s Attic from Pion Design, and so are the DP:s; “Blue Pansy” 6×6 from the “For Mother” collection. Thought these would be fitting as it’s a Birthday card for my Mother in law. Again I’ve used the text strip from Maja Design’s 1910. Now that I know what it means I think it fits on most cards. LOL
The Wooden Butterfly from Maya Road I painted white with some crackle paint. The smaller butterflies I punched out from the DP with a Martha Stewart punch.
