Textures

Hi there,
This week over at the LLC Inspiration Blog we’ve had Vilda Stamps in focus. I first discovered Vilda Stamps last year at the Stempelmekka in Hagen, Germany and instantly fell in love with the versatility of their stamps. There’s really something for everyone; cute character stamps, vintage & steampunk stamps, backgrounds, collage stamps, sentiment stamps… At first I was going to use one of the adorable gnome stamps  for my card, but as there had/have already been two gnomes card this week and I know there’s a 3rd one today, I thought I’d use a different kind of stamp and settled for the Gingerbread House.
Yeah I know; not the usual card from me, but I had fun making it, playing around with the different textures. The large puzzle piece, which I believe is from Bo Bunny, I painted with Walnut Stain Distress Crackle Paint and then for the image I used both Snow-Tex and Flowersoft. Then there’s the jute fabric, the cheese cloth and the pom pom trim…
