LLC: Count the Hearts…

This week the LLC DT has been showcasing the gorgeous papers from Pion Design’s newest collection, Alma’s Sewing Room. Obviously, most of us couldn’t keep our hands off it this long…myself have used it twice already and both times I’ve combined the purple papers with pink, but today I’ve gone with lilac:
The image is the adorable “Canary Love from Saturated Canary, coloured with Copics.
The markers I used were RV91, RV93, RV95 & B91, B93, B95 for her clothing and for her hair E30, E33, E35, and E37. Shading around image (though hardly visible in the pics): C1, C2, RV00 +CB.The birdie ticket from the Cut Out Sheet goes brilliantly with this image, don’t ya think?!!!

How many hearts can you find on my card? LOL
Yeah, I know that Valentine’s was last week. Thing is though, I was just going to use some of the new hearts on my card, and then everything evolved from there… 🙂
Love the shaped square Tracy sometimes uses on her cards, so I thought I’d have a look in the Silhouette Store and see if I could find something similar, and found this one. Also the Heart Flourish Frame, as well as the card shape were cut with the Cameo.
Here are some close up pics, where one gets a better look at the new hearts and the flower sprays:

The seam binding is “English Lavender”. The lilac poppies were toned down a bit with Gesso, which was also applied to the bird cage charm. I coloured the cheese cloth with a Copic marker, and also the Maya Road mini heart pins…and then they were exposed to a bit of Gesso treatment… 🙂 I think that’s it.
