This week’s theme over at the LLC Inspiration blog has been “Fussy & Fancy”. I might as well have said “Anything goes” as all my girls are more or less Fussy & Fancy.
Well, there’s a reason why they’re on the LLC DT…
We all just love our bellies!
A couple of weeks ago, when I found out that I had been invited to guest design for the Sugar Creek Hollow Challenge blog and the theme was to alter something, I was talking to DT Member Elin about what to alter and she came up with the idea of a coffee filter.
In the end I chose something different for SCH (please scroll down to see my project), but I’ve been wanting to try out the coffee filter idea ever since, so here it is:
I was so disappointed that I didn’t get the new Spring Collection from Maja Design delivered on Friday, which I had hoped for as I had planned on using the new papers for yesterday’s card, but it shouldn’t be long now though, probably tomorrow or at the latest Tuesday. 🙂 Can’t wait!!!
Anyway, what better papers to use for this coffee filter card than Maja Design’s Coffee collection?!!!
The image is once again a new one by Hannah Lynn, available from Crafts & Me. This one’s called “Annabelle“, isn’t she beautiful?! And look at her fancy dress!!! Copic markers used for her dress were V01, V04, V06, V09. For her hair E30, E33, E35, E37 & E57.
When I’m running with an idea, I tend to sometimes get a bit obsessed with it, hence the “latte brown” Maya Road jute twine, the cup charm, and the sentiment… 🙂
I googled for coffee and friendship quotes and came across;
“Good Coffee is like friendship: rich, warm and strong”
I hope the Pan American Coffee Bureau won’t mind that I changed the order of coffee and friendship, LOL. Despite all the coffee correlations, this card is about friendship, not coffee!!! 🙂
