Hi there, it’s time for the CLP Midtime Reminder. Well actually not quite; shame on me; I’m late. 😳 April is flying by at the same speed as the first 3 months this year did. Anyway; here’s Chelsea’s gorgeous sketch for April, as always fun to play with:
Now a word of warning…
What you’re about to see might come as a huge surprise…
Are you sure?
Are you really really sure?
Ok, here it is:
Look, I’ve inked up a Maggie!!!
I can’t even remember when I last did, that’s how long ago it was. I got this little cutie from Becky (thanks hun), and I think she’s the most adorable of the new Tildas.
Pippi Longstocking has since childhood been my favourite Astrid Lindgren character and as a kid, I remember I wanted to be Pippi.
So later in life, I became Pippi… 🙂
How cute isn’t that, with Howard Stern and the Swedish flag?!!!! LOL
These first two pics were taken during the Halloween Street Party in the Castro, San Francisco in 1999, and the last one is from Karnival in Duesseldorf, together with hubby, a.k.a. “Karlsson on the Roof”, back in 2003…
Back to the card:
I’ve used papers from Maja Design’s new Vintage Spring Basics Collection, and a mix of Shabby White & Shabby Blue Frantage. As you can see, there’s a whole lot of that stuff! Earlier this week Tracy did a fab video tutorial on embossing with frantage and gave us some new ideas as to what materials could be frantaged and ever since the LLC girls have been exchanging ideas. Today I decided to give the blackberry a go with the Shabby White, and it came out beautifully.
