While I’m at it, I thought I’d post another card I also made a couple of weeks ago.
This one fits this month’s LLC Challenge, where the theme is ice cream:
Now you might wonder what this card has to do with ice cream… LOL
Well; when I was little, in the Summer when we bought soft serve ice cream, I always ordered it with Tutti Frutti Sprinkles. 🙂
Ok, so the Tutti Frutti Sprinkles on my ice cream were usually a lot more colourful than what can be seen on my card, but point is that “Tutti Frutti” is a multitude of colours!
“Tutti frutti is a colorful confection containing various chopped and usually candied fruits, or an artificially created flavouring simulating the combined flavour of many different fruits.”
So there you have it; various and different colours, just like my card. 😀
This is a book card made almost entirely with scrap paper pieces from Maja Design’s Sofiero collection.
The seam binding I dyed especially for this project, and it turned out great, if I may say so. It’s a lovely mix of blue and pink tones.
The inside was decorated with the same lace as on the cover, Lace Isabelle, and I also added the pink Rhinestones Lace. Stamped a Stempelglede sentiment, and frantaged it with Shabby Pink: Inside the frame there’s a flower heart resting on the gorgeous Maya Road glitter tulle trim. I wrapped some pearl string around the heart, and the frame was decorated with Lace Valerie:Some close up pics:
I sprinkled some Glamour Dust on the butterflies before embossing them with UTEE.
Here’s the back of the book:
This is the only paper which isn’t from the Sofiero collection; it’s the backside of “Lovely Weather” from the Coffee in the Arbour collection (but also a scrap piece).Challenges I’d like to enter:
