Baby Girl Shoes
This week the LLC DT has been playing with pearls. I’m born in June, so I’m lucky to have pearl as my birthstone! 🙂
As I’m standing in for Alyce this week, I have a little project to share: I decided to make these tiny paper shoes. The talented Tara of Tara’s Craft Studio, who generously shares many cutting files, has great templates for both baby boy and baby girl shoes. You can find them HERE. I used the girl shoes template and traced it in the Silhouette Software and cut it out with my Cameo.
This is the first time I’ve used Maja Design “Vintage Baby” collection; it was sooooooooo difficult to choose which sheet to use, but in the end I decided to go with “Baby Shower” as it had shoes on it. 🙂
The trims used are the 8mm Pearl Lace with Beads, and the 6mm Flatback Pearl String.
As a “fastening button” for each strap I used a 12mm Pearl Button with Rhinestones.
To the front of each shoe, I also added some small pearls.
The lace in the back of the shoes is “Lace Madeleine”. The strap was decorated with 15mm & 10mm WOC open roses in ivory and the new colour, “Pink Mist” and some pearl stamens.
