This month the LLC girls have chosen “Christmas in July” for our challenge. Today has been the hottest day so far this Summer/this year; a whopping 33 degrees, so perfect weather for getting the snow-tex out and making Christmas cards, hehe.
This is what I came up with:
I’ve used left over pieces from Maja Design’s “A Gift for You” collection (from last year), and some cardboard, which I painted white with crackle paint. Love this shabby effect! Then there’s of course snow-tex scattered all around the card.
As the focal point for the card, I cut out the birdies and placed them in this beautiful resin frame from Prima.
I’ve decorated with flowers, “wine pudding” pomegranates and 10mm shabby white jingle bells.
The lace is “Aurélie” , which is my favourite at the moment.
Thanks for looking. Hope you can join us for the LLC July challenge!
I’m entering this card into Sparkles Christmas Challenge – #54 Use ribbon, lace or twine.
